Arusha – Serengeti – Northern Tanzania
- Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport.
- On arrival, you’ll be meeting our airport representative who will be with you for the duration of your trip through northern Tanzania.
- From here your guide will drive you to the rural town of Arusha, where you’ll relax and catch up on some sleep at Rivertrees Country Inn, set in an exquisite riverside location surrounded by lush gardens.

Tarangire National Park
- Early breakfast at the hotel.
- Check out as your safari adventure begins today. Your guide will drive you to your first stop, Tarangire National Park. This is a far less visited national park on the circuit so you can enjoy some spectacular wildlife sightings in this vast wilderness with lower visitor densities.
- As you enter the park and game drive through it, you’ll pass huge herds of elephants surrounded by open woodlands and acacia trees.
- Your base for the next two nights is Kichuguu Camp. After settling into camp and enjoying a delicious lunch on the deck, you will spend the rest of the day exploring the ravines and swamps which are teeming with wildlife.
- Passing the Tarangire River, watch in astonishment as you witness an enormous herd of elephants, ambling along the riverbank. It is common to see herds of up to 300 elephants in the dry season here, so you will really get a sense of the magnitude of these giants.

Ngorongoro Crater
- Breakfast at the camp.
- Check-out this morning as you will continue your journey up into the highland region of Karatu.
- As you drive into this town, you’ll pass rolling hills of lush and coffee plantations. You will arrive at Plantation Lodge, your home for the next two nights. After settling in, let your senses guide you through the stunning gardens encasing the lodge as you amble past frangipani and jacaranda plants, with the sounds of exotic birds surrounding you.
- Today you’ll have the chance to visit a local coffee plantation or just indulge in the delicious food and laze by the pool. In the morning feel your excitement build as you journey to the Ngorongoro Crater, just 45 minutes away from the lodge.
- As you wind up the hilly roads, passing dense forest and baboons on the roadside you’ll arrive at the top of the crater and marvel at one of the most astonishing views in Africa. Descend onto the crater floor and spend your morning winding through the roads passing animals such as lions and rhino.
- You will only need 3-4 hours to explore the crater properly so you’ll head back to Karatu where you can enjoy the rest of the day at your own pace.

- As you enter the south of the Serengeti, gaze out at the never-ending plains of this vast land. You will game drive up to central Serengeti, arriving at your base for the next 2 nights, Kiota Camp.
- This is a wonderfully authentic tented camp located right in the heart of the bush, bringing you close to the action. After relishing on lunch in the shade of an acacia tree, you will game drive for the rest of the afternoon.
- The Serengeti is famed for big cat sightings, so you’ll have the chance to see elegant cheetahs prowling the Savannah for prey and strikingly beautiful leopards escaping the heat of the day in the acacia tree tops.
- In the evening, after a delicious home-cooked dinner, gather around the roaring campfire with the other guests and reminisce on your trip so far.
- Enjoy a drink of Amarula and listen to the sounds of the bush under the star-flecked night sky.

- As you drive north, watch the landscapes change as you pass rocky outcrops and clusters of enormous boulders. Stop for lunch in the shade of these rocks and if you’re lucky you may see a pride of lions basking in the sun on top.
- As you arrive in the north, you may encounter the migration and watch in astonishment at the sheer enormity of it.
- Your base for the final nights of your safari is Chaka Camp, a mobile camp which is perfectly positioned to see the migration. The remainder of your time in the Serengeti will be focusing on catching a river crossing.
- The bonus of having a private guide and vehicle really becomes apparent here; park up and wait in anticipation at a prime river crossing spot and feel the thundering movements of thousands of wildebeest cross the mighty Mara River at any point.
- Without the obstruction of other guests in the vehicle you can thoroughly enjoy this spectacle and get some incredible photos. Whilst the migration is the focus, you’ll see some of the most diverse wildlife sightings in Africa here as predators come to the Mara River seeking out the prey clambering cross it.

General Terms
- Please note that these packages are customizable, which means that you will be able to make changes to the itinerary/activity if you so desire. The final payment will be calculated as per the itinerary and inclusions reflected on the confirmatory e-mail sent to you.
- Please expect to receive your vouchers 72 hours before your departure date (subject to full payment of your package cost).
- Personal expenses such as laundry, telephone calls, room service, alcoholic beverages, mini bars etc., are not included.
- In case your package needs to be canceled due to any natural calamity, weather conditions etc. Dook Travels shall strive to give you the maximum possible refund subject to the agreement made with our trade partners/vendors.
- The passenger names in the booking form should be exactly as per passports. Dook Travels will not bear any liability for the name change fee, if incorrect names and ages have been added at the time of booking.
- Please note that your package includes baggage as per airlines policy. Any addition in baggage will be charged separately.
- Standard check-in time at the hotel is normally 2:00 pm and check-out is 11:00 am. An early check-in, or a late check-out is solely based on the discretion of the hotel.
- In case the selected hotel is unavailable for booking, an alternate arrangement will be offered to the customer in another hotel of a similar category.
- Certain hotels may ask for a security deposit during check-in, which is refundable at check-out subject to the hotel policy.This amount has to be deposited by the traveler.
- Please note that Day at Leisure essentially implies that no sightseeing activities have been included for that day.
- Kindly be on time for your activities, tours and transfers. Dook Travels will not be liable for missing any activity thus for any refund against it in such cases.
- No refund either in part or in full will be made for any unused part of the services provided in the package.
- The package price doesn’t include special dinner or mandatory charges at times levied by the hotels especially during New Year and Christmas or any special occasions. Dook Travels shall try to communicate the same while booking the package. However Dook Travels may not have this information readily available all the time.
- Our package price does not include GST and TCS. Applicable GST and TCS will be charged over and above the package price.
- For queries regarding cancellations and refunds, please refer to our Cancellation Policy.
- For any paid activity which is non-operational due to any unforeseen reason, we will process the refund & should reach the guest within 30 days refund requisition. Also, for any activity which is complementary and not charged to Dook Travels & guests, no refund will be processed.
- Our package prices are on twin sharing accommodation basis thus published prices are applicable for minimum two persons and multiple of two thereon.
- As per RBI guideline every foreign traveler has to provide us his PAN details. The Dollar component of package price will be taken out of your BTQ (Basic Travel Quota).
- The tour cost does not include any Overseas Insurance Premium, but we strongly recommend buying Overseas Insurance Policy. The same after issuance is non refundable.
- These terms are general terms for our tour packages.Any term mentioned in proposal shall be considered part of it and in case of discrepancy term mentioned in proposal shall prevail.
- Disputes, if any, shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in New Delhi.
Payment Policy
- Payment schedule depends on destination, time of booking, inclusions, airline and hotel payment policy etc thus it is specific to your package bookining.
- Payment schedule will be part of our proposal to you for the package.
- If payment is not made as per the schedule provided in the first booking confirmation e-mail, Dook Travels reserves the right to cancel the booking after attempting to get in touch with you. Refunds would be as per the package cancellation policy.
Cancellation Policy
- Once Booking received : INR 5000 (Per PAX) + actual Ticket cancellation + Hotel cancellation as per hotel policy+Visa fee if visa is applied.
- 60 – 45 Days prior to departure : 25 % of land cost + INR 5000 (Per PAX) + actual Ticket cancellation+Visa fee if visa is applied.
- 45 – 30 days prior to departure: 50% of land cost + INR 5000 (Per PAX) + actual Ticket cancellation+Visa fee if visa is applied.
- 30 – 10 days prior to departure: 75% of land cost + INR 5000 (Per PAX) + actual Ticket cancellation+Visa fee if visa is applied.
- Within 10 days: Full.
