How to Get Finland Tourist Visa

All the citizens of India are required to apply for a visa before going into Finland under the Schengen agreement. Before your application, you have to understand and state the purpose of your visit. The visa is required to be applied at the respective Embassy/Consulate of Finland. When you are travelling to more than one country under the Schengen area, you have to represent your first port of entry being Finland.

The Visa Application centre accepts applications for a short stay not exceeding 90 days, and it’s necessary to visit the Visa application centre in person. When you visit a Schengen area, you are required to submit a biometric data i.e. fingerprints and photo which will be done at the time of your application at the Visa Application Centre. The Visa application centre in New Delhi, Chennai, Bangalore, Mumbai, Kolkata or Hyderabad accepts the application forms.

For any Schengen country, it is recommended to submit your visa application three months before the trip or at least one month before the planned trip. Please also note that if the application if filled incorrectly and carelessly, it can cause a refusal of your visa.
