Beomeosa Temple also called the 'Temple of Nirvana Fish' is a Korean Buddhist Temple of the Jogye Order. The urban temple is located in the foothills of Geumjeongsan in Cheongpyeong-dong, Geumjeong-gu. It is one of the oldest Buddhist temples in Korean history. The history of this temple dates back over 1000 years, making it one of the most significant ancient landmarks within Busan. The complex includes many shrines and buildings dedicated to different deities of Korean mythology.

The Haeundae Temple is one of the most famous temples in Busan located in Gijang-gun. It was built in 1376 during the reign of the Goryeo Dynasty. Here is a list of a few things you must not miss when visiting the temple- the landscape itself, the temple entrance, the main hall, the Seawater Great Goddess Buddha, the Golden Jijang Bosal Statue, the Laughing Buddha Statue, the Chinese Zodiac Animal Statues, Mini Monks Figures, 108 Stairs and Bridge, Buddha of Granting a Son and the wishing pond, to name a few!

The best time to visit this beautiful Buddhist temple is between March and May when you can enjoy spring weather as well as cherry blossoms blooming around it! If you're visiting during summer, try visiting during their annual festival held every June where there will be lots of activities happening throughout downtown Busan such as street performances by talented local artists whose goal is to bring more joy into people's lives through their craftsmanship skills!

Geumjeongsanseong Fortress is a historic site in Busan built in 1703. It is one of the best-preserved fortresses in Korea and also the largest. You need to go to the top of Geumjeongsan Mountain to explore this historic relic. The main purpose of the fortress was to defend against attacks from rivals. It has 24 watchtowers that are still standing today. You'll see them if you walk up to the entrance gate at Geumjeongsanseong Fortress Park.

Busan is home to many magnificent fortresses.
